Facilities - Building and Grounds
Our mission is to maintain and improve all district facility buildings and grounds in a manner which positively contributes to the learning experience of each student by providing a safe, clean, sustainable and healthy environment.
On Wednesday Oct 21, the facilities committee and public engagement committee for the Tinton Falls Board of Education had an opportunity to visit all three of its district schools. We discussed all the major referendum projects as well as future infrastructure goals.
The new schools met and exceeded our expectations with its bright walls, new flooring, and enhanced safety measures. The use of solar technology was one of the key highlights of our visit. Our ability to harness our own energy while keeping the environment and cost in mind is a huge victory for the district and the town.
All schools have been modernized to create a warm and inviting space for all our students and staff. However, the biggest and most noticeable change is the installation of a new HVAC system. All schools now have air conditioning and heat. These necessary additions make our buildings comfortable year-round.
We will continue to monitor the progress of the referendum as the projects come close to completion.
We would like to thank Superintendent Mrs. Goldey & Mr. Daniels for taking time out of their day to give us an in-depth tour of all the schools and answering all of our questions.
